Novomatic Africa Group Undergoes Management Transformation
The gaming conglomerate Novomatic is instituting alterations to the executive hierarchy within its Novomatic Africa Group. These structural adjustments are slated to take effect beginning on 1st August.
Continuing in their roles on Novomatic Africa's Board of Directors, Muriel Loftie- Eaton and Alexander Merwald will retain their positions. Concurrently, Sonya Nikolova will be relocating to Europe, assuming a key position with the company’s Global Sales team in Austria.
New Appointments and Responsibilities
Chantal Crossley is set to assume a dual role, becoming a Managing Director at Novomatic Africa in conjunction with Loftie-Eaton and Merwald. She will also co- direct Novomatic Africa's Eswatini operations alongside Merwald. Crossley expressed her enthusiasm for her upcoming Managing Director position, stating:
“Joining the Novomatic Group has filled me with excitement as it's one of the world's foremost integrated gaming enterprises. Now, I eagerly anticipate leveraging my managerial acumen and insights at a strategic level to propel the Group's regional growth.”
Additionally, Merwald commented:
“We, Muriel Loftie-Eaton and myself, are thrilled to welcome Chantel Crossley as Managing Director in the Novomatic Africa Group. Collaborating with her to expand Novomatic's reach in the South African territory is something we eagerly anticipate.”
Other Developments in the African Gaming Sector
Separately, Pariplay, a company under the ownership of NeoGames, announced its entry into the South African market through a collaboration with SunBet.
Tsachi Maimon, President of NeoGames, reflected on the partnership, saying:
